Most of my working life has been spent in libraries, but in my younger days I trained and worked as a nurse. Now I have given up paid employment to cultivate the art of not working, and save my life at the same time. Life isn't always easy, but it's what we've got. Carpe diem!

Black eye
Bruised battered and bloodshot! It doesn't look so bad in the photo but it's actually extremely painful, though getting less so by the minute. My second cataract surgery didn't go quite so smoothly as the first, as you can see by the photo. Vision in my right eye is perfect, not so my newly implanted left eye. The surgeon assures me it will get better. I hope so!

Poor old you. Anything to do with EYES is a nightmare; I can't stand the idea of anyone touching my eyes. I wish you well.
ReplyDeletep.s. I think you should have held the camera the other way round!
Cro, I do it that way round so I can hide my double chin(s) with the camera. A cunning ploy!

You are right, it doesn't look to bad, though I am sure it hurts heaps. I hope by now it's feeling a lot better.
