Eye eye!

I've just come back from my final follow-up visit to the surgeon. He took out the stitch and pronounced everything satisfactory. Huzzah! I still have a black eye, though. The bruising is taking its own sweet time to disappear.

  1. I had some minor surgery on my face a few months ago. In anticipation, I took homeopathic arnica. There was still some bruising, although not as bad as I anticipated, probably due to the arnica. Then I used a cream with arnica in it on the bruises. I swear, the bruising disappeared almost overnight.

  2. Arnica! Of course. Why didn't I think of that! Thanks, Grace, I'll get some tomorrow.

  3. Wear your bruise with pride. You should be very proud of yourself for having come through it all so calmly.

  4. So glad all is well. Maybe people will just think you're in an abusive relationship (as though anyone would argue with your strong right arm!). Are you totally without glasses now? Pat

  5. Cro: thanks. It's been an interesting few weeks.

Pat: I still need glasses for reading, and I'm having fun buying cheap pairs of lurid specs from the $2 shop.
