Most of my working life has been spent in libraries, but in my younger days I trained and worked as a nurse. Now I have given up paid employment to cultivate the art of not working, and save my life at the same time. Life isn't always easy, but it's what we've got. Carpe diem!

More Flower Show pics
The casual nature of the show adds to the charm of it. As we keep reminding each other, "This isn't bloody Chelsea!" I like all the different containers - everything from crystal vases to beer bottles to wine bottles to marmite jars.
I adore village events like this - life has no higher calling! Well done you and the team. Someone has to do the work and I'm so glad someone does. :0)
The flower show looks lovely - I'm with Cro Magnon in remembering making sand-saucers... and not winning :-) I hope your eyes are ok, now that they are both going in the same direction... :-)
Reminds me of when I was small, doing a garden in a saucer, or a face made from vegs. I never won anything!
ReplyDeleteJust picture perfect!
ReplyDeleteps... I know you'll do fine - tomorrow -
is that the day?
These are wonderful. I love the Heineken vase.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am lifted by these photos as we are just approaching winter and today is a grey day with a damp cold. Thank you.
