My new painting

I've just hung this painting on the wall between my bookcase and my fireplace. It looks great. I admired the lemons when I was visiting the artist months ago, and he very generously turned up on Christmas Day with the finished painting as a gift for me. Not to everyone's taste maybe but I love it. For some reason most of his paintings feature food in some form which is possibly why I like them.

  1. Well I for one think it's lovely!
Bright and colourful, which I love. AND there is blue in there too... even better! lol

  2. I love it. The colors and style would go great in my living room. So I'm assuming we have similar tastes and decor in our homes.

  4. Hello Judith

I have just found your blog (via Chris H's). You are doing paleo!!! Fantastic... so hard to find a fellow blogger who is low carb/paleo and I see you even read the same info that I do - Fathead, Mark Sissons etc. I look forward to following your blog.

  5. Great pic. It reminds me of the painting on the wall in 'Frazier'; do you know that one?

  7. Thanks folks. It's a very big painting and takes up most of the space on that wall. I have two other paintings by the same artist but they are much smaller.

Cro, your comment struck a chord. I remember that painting. Off to Google to see if I can track it down.
